The Rees Centre is the core of our hotel. Here, you will find:

• The Rees Library, housing more than 250 rare books and maps depicting the settlement and development of the region.
• Bordeau at The Rees, offering the best wines of Central Otago and Bordeaux in a comfortable lounge setting.
• The True South Observatory, providing an extraordinary platform for viewing the stunning, star-filled southern night sky.

Rees Experiences
The Rees is dedicated to developing an exclusive and unique range of experiences to offer to our guests. They are designed to provide opportunities to learn more about the character and heritage of Queenstown, the Wakatipu Basin, the beautiful Southern Lakes District, the dramatic Southern Alps and the world renowned Milford Sound.
The Rees Peak Experience provides a range of personalised helicopter trips with guides trained to provide interpretive commentaries on the historical significance of heritage sites and significant natural landmarks of the region. We have a helicopter dedicated to the service of our guests, and arrangements for tours can be made with our Customers Services Director.
A private passenger jet service. The Rees Customer Service Team can arrange for a private passenger jet to pick up guests from a wide range of airports throughout New Zealand and travel other New Zealand destinations during their stay in Queenstown.
These are initial offerings in the portfolio of Rees Experiences, and new unique experiences and touring services will be added as they are developed. A distinctive feature of the Rees Apartment Hotel is our team’s determination to provide an experience – not just accommodation.
